The short version

• Autopilot helps you keep track of company deadlines. It is a reminder tool, not legal, tax or accounting advice.
• Deadlines are calculated from standard rules and are a guide. You remain responsible for your filings.
• Your records belong to you. You can download them or delete your account at any time.
• Keep your password and email account secure. Every sign in also needs a code sent to your email.
• Work you ask Grant & Graham to do is agreed separately, with a quote before anything starts.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of Autopilot, the online service at soundchecksoftware.eu/autopilot. Autopilot is provided by Grant & Graham Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 11575770, registered office 167 to 169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF ("we", "us").

By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use Autopilot for a company or organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Who can use Autopilot

Autopilot is intended for business use by company owners, directors and their advisers. You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate details when you register.

3. What Autopilot does, and what it does not do

Autopilot lets you record your companies, builds a calendar of expected filing deadlines from standard rules for each country, looks up companies in official public registers, reminds you of what is coming up, and lets you record notices and send requests to Grant & Graham or your own advisers.

4. Your account and security

• Keep your password secret and use one you do not use anywhere else.
• Keep your email account secure, because sign in codes are sent there.
• Tell us straight away at uk@grant-graham.co.uk if you think someone else has accessed your account.
• You are responsible for what happens in your account, unless it was caused by our own failure.

5. Your records

You own the records you add to Autopilot. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to provide Autopilot to you.

You are responsible for the records you add, and for having the right to add any information about other people, such as directors or advisers.

If you choose to keep your records in your own storage, you are responsible for that storage, its availability and its security. We are not responsible for records lost or changed there.

You can download a copy of your records at any time in Settings. We recommend keeping your own copy.

6. Fair use

You agree not to:

• use Autopilot for anything unlawful, or to store content you have no right to store;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or to get around the security of Autopilot;
• overload, probe or scan Autopilot, or use automated tools to access it, except as we allow;
• use the company register lookups to collect data in bulk, or in breach of the registers' own terms;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer Autopilot.

7. Services from Grant & Graham

Autopilot lets you ask Grant & Graham, or a partner we work with, to handle a filing or other work. Sending a request does not create an engagement. Any work is agreed separately in writing, with the price and scope confirmed before it starts, and is governed by that agreement.

8. Price

Autopilot is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce fees, we will tell you in advance. You can then decide whether to continue, and you can always download your records and delete your account.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Autopilot available and secure, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may need to pause it for maintenance, or change, add or remove features. If we plan to close Autopilot, we will give you reasonable notice so you can download your records.

10. Suspension and ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts Autopilot or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you the chance to download your records.

11. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows:

• we are not liable for missed deadlines, penalties, fines, interest or other consequences of relying on the calendar, reminders or register information in Autopilot, as Autopilot is a reminder tool and not advice;
• we are not liable for loss of profit, business, revenue, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss;
• our total liability to you in connection with Autopilot is limited to £100.

If you use Autopilot as a consumer, you keep all rights that the law gives you and that cannot be excluded.

12. Intellectual property

Autopilot, its design, software, name and icon belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use Autopilot, not ownership of it. Company register information remains subject to the terms of the register it comes from.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in Autopilot before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account. Continuing to use Autopilot after the change means you accept the new terms.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you use Autopilot as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and may bring proceedings there.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first. We will do our best to resolve it.
